Nightmares of death“What happens when we die?” I asked myself one night. I stared at the ceiling in a bored curiosity, unable to fall asleep. I rolled over in my bed, shaking my head at the thought. I scoffed. Sure, plenty of things were possible, but the thought of death wasn’t a really comforting one. Especially since I was lying in a bed. Once more, I rolled over. Reincarnation. Nothing. Hell and heaven. Something else, I thought dryly, trying my hardest to not wake up everyone else for their opinions.  
 For a third time, I rolled over, sighing deeply. I thought hard. I wanted to find an answer; hopefully, a comforting one. Anything Nightmares of death

It was Halloween, after all...Funny, how the setting of the woods at midnight can change your perception on everything. Funnier still, how making the night Halloween only adds to the warp in perception. Every noise, every movement in the shadows makes people jump in a morbid anticipation of the inhuman in the blackness. But what if, for once, the noises were real? I mean, it is Halloween, after all…  Alas, cherie. I cannot grant you the pleasure of being alone. I thought serenely. With the care of a nursemaid, I slid open the door and kept the dogs silent. Almost instantly, a feeling of fear overran me. It was Halloween, after all. There was barely any moonlight It was Halloween, after all...

I beliveI believe that sarcasm is the spice of life. That the blatantly nonchalant lie is stronger (and funnier) that the straight up truth.   
 Sarcasm has been with humanity for ages. From the Latin sarcasmos, it means ‘to tear flesh’. Sadly, this beautiful form of art is considered by many( including the great Oscar Wilde) to be the lowest form of wit. I bet even the dinosaurs used sarcasm. I bet if a momma T. Rex walked up to her only baby and asked, “Did you kill that?”, the baby would reply, “No, my brother did.” It’s the oldest thing I know.

A sea of sexism.

In history class today, the topic of Man Caves arose. Our teacher asked us, "If men have man caves, what do women have?" Of course, I said the first thing that came to mind.

"The kitchen."

Funny how sexism can make a class laugh when it's from a chick, about a chick.

Anyways...My father, sister, and I went and got a Wii for mi madre. Cool, right? Too bad I'm not much into Wiis, and there is no Resident Evil or Dead Space: Extraction in my near Wii future. For shame, for shame.

On a lighter note, I can now watch Rocky Horror Picture Show. And be happy. Because things like that make me happy.

Trying to get money to go to Anime Boston as well. Just to say I've gone.

And...that's it. Yeah.
